Experience the yet-untold story of Jason and Eva after defeating the terrestrial mutant scourge in Blaster Master Zero as they venture into the depths of space in their new GAIA-SOPHIA battle tank! After the destruction of the Mutant Core in the underground depths of the planet Earth, Jason's partner Eve was infected with mutant parasites, which began to slowly spoil her body.

Now they are leaving Earth and heading to Eva Sophia's home planet outside G-SOPHIA in hopes of finding a cure.

G-SOPHIA and Gaia system

When G-SOPHIA falls from a great height or takes damage, the Gaia system converts the impact energy into SP for G-SOPHIA's weapons and functions. Strategically traverse the landscape of many different planets to accumulate SP and maximize the full potential of your G-SOPHIA battle tank!

Jason's new ability: EXPLOSION COUNTER

BLAST COUNTER is a powerful counterattack that Jason can use against enemies the moment they attack. Use the COUNTER-created opening to unleash your primary and secondary weapons on a defenseless enemy and blast through stages from top to bottom with speed and agility!

Meet new pilots with their own support droids and Metal Attacker battle tanks

Jason and Eve meet other Metal Attacker pilots and support the droids as they travel through space. Will their encounters lead to new friends and strong bonds, or will they make new enemies and face more strife...?
